Today I’m going to share something from my previous experience. It’s about ihram. Ihram is basically a regulation you have to fulfill while doing ihram. So I thought that’s most of the people not sure about its complete rules. As when I do my first umrah. I have absolutely no idea just ask close relatives. So I study topic and now I’m going to share this with you all. The literal meaning of Ihram is to make haraam (forbidden). When you do the Niyyah (intention) of Hajj and Umrah while you are in ihram certain halaal (permissible) things become haraam (not allowed) for you. This combined action is called Ihram after wearing ihram you also have to utter two nawafil with the niyyah of umrah and hajj as your prayer can’t be completed if ihram is not there. But today we are going to discuss women ihram regulations.
- Clean your body completely before wearing ihram and remove unwanted hairs
- And do wudu with the niyyah of ihram
- The Ihram of Women can wear everyday clothes. But you take care this think cloth is not thin. While the other person attention with you. The dresses should be very simple and clean.
- In state of ihram women have to un-cover their faces
- Cover your head in a way that your hairs should not be seen to any na-mehram
- You should wear the flip-flops so that the middle bones of the upper part of the feet are not covered. And after that you have to pray two nawafal with niyyah
Prohibitions in form of ihram are as follows:
- Cover face (women)
- Cut hair
- Wear Perfume
- Cut nails
- Sex(halal)
- After you end up with the obligation of umrah or hajj you have to cut your hairs to come out from the state of ihram. Most of the people thought that somebody else has to cut your hairs but you can do it by yourself
- Another misconception is that no hair should be break. It is this way that you haven’t break or cut hair but if un-willingly a hair got broken then there is no Dumm (fine) onto it.
